Well im conjecturing on the damage based on UI, it would have to be diagnosed. But damage is nrvrr under warranty even if you damage it the same day you receive it.
Go to rma portal plug in mac it will tell you what yoir options are.
This type of damage is usually ground current and could have happened awhile ago but you did not notice it until you ipgraded it and looked at status page.
But WISP Repair which runs our RMAs will repair most any unit even other manufacturer equipment.
