127c Board Temp Problem
I have a WS-26-500-DC at Firmware Version: 1.5.25 that is reporting the board temp at 127c. I had a tech go by tower site and he said the Netonix is cool to the touch and my other equipment, the router, a CCR2004-16G-2S+ is at 44C cpu temp, the algcom ups is at 117F in this same box aren't reporting high temps. I'm experiencing so packet loss to devices connected to the netonix. I'm not sure if the temp was high before or after upgrading to 1.5.25 about a month ago.
Re: 127c Board Temp Problem
That sensor's on the board behind the SFP ports, it's either in an error state or has failed - if persistent between reboots the latter would seem the case. Probably needs a trip across the bench unless you're good with SMT soldering, most common culprit there is moisture intrusion via your cables;
stephanie.lorah@wisprepairs.us can get you a ticket started if it's outside the warranty period, otherwise rma.netonix.com - will give you an error screen that's not actually an error but do email us when you do, puts it on my personal radar.
