Switch RMA coming back to someone other than myself

Fri Oct 10, 2025 10:32 am

I'm not sure what to do here. I have switch ec:13:b2:02:cb:5e which has a failed temperature sensor in it. It has not been repaired and as far as I know was purchased direct from Netonix. However, Netonix is saying it is out of warranty and was sold to someone other than our company that's on the other side of the country.

Can someone from Netonix assist please?

Matt, we literally talked about this, and prior to this post, too -- As I recall where we left it was 'it's a trivial fix, get it in, I'll do the needful'?

It wasn't purchased from Netonix under your user account within the warranty period; is there another account I should be looking for sales history under?

Either way, it needs to come in, man. Once we see what we see, we see, whatever we see - it's not the mac address I have written down for the one I sold to you, but if I find my work in there, it's me; if i find someone else's work in there, it's not me- I've seen non-functional refurbed units sold as new from certain 'supplies' vendors, before, but if you're saying you bought it from us, the last time you bought a 26 was in 2021, you purchased two.

Again, send it in. We need to see what we see, Matt.
