Searching in forum

Thu Feb 20, 2020 4:57 am

Hi.

Does the search work in this forum properly? I try search for example "WS12-250-DC" and result is nothing. This string is in: https://forum.netonix.com/viewtopic.php?f=17&t=6023

But "temperature" works.

Maybe the hyphen that broke the search. If you search for dead, it work fine.

I don't know why I should look for the dead ... I am living animal.
I search information about the switch and I found nothing. It is big mistake. If your product's names are with hyphen, searching should work.

It is a quirk of the phpbb forum software. Closest I can suggest is to take out the hyphens and use spaces instead.
For example, if you search for "WS12 250 DC" it is not perfect but will include what you are looking for.

OK, the patch didn't want to cooperate with some of our mods and customization's but it's working now.
