Aviat backhaul radios have 2.5G Ethernet ports. I'd like to buy multi-gigabit switches eventually, but I don't need it right now so I'm waiting for the price to come down.

Well now we're getting ready to deploy Siklu EH-8010 radios for 2 Gbps links as they can be software upgraded to 5 Gbps or 10 Gbps. Unfortunately, they have only two ports: a 10 Gbps SFP+ and a 10 Gbps copper Ethernet port (which also can negotiate at 5 Gbps or 2.5 Gbps).

They require 50 watts and can be powered by separate 48v wiring or by PoE over the 10 Gbps copper Ethernet. Obviously I'd like to power these radios via PoE over a Cat6 10 Gbps copper Ethernet connection.

Meanwhile we're still deploying Ignitenet ML2.5-60 radios. We now have 68 ML2.5-60 radios deployed. Currently they operate as 1/1 Gbps links connected to Netonix switches. But I could be getting at least 1500/500 Mbps out of these links if I could connect with 2.5 Gbps Ethernet.

Any updates?
