Hello Netonix,

PoE+ (60W) is out on 802.3bf.
(When) Are you going to support it?

Best,
Heiko

We already do. This document is a fairly simple abstract of the 802.3bt standard: http://cds.linear.com/docs/en/article/M ... _802.3.pdf

And if you look, the standard for powered device is compatible with our VH port powering scheme, so to answer your question; We have for a couple of years. Any powered device compatible with the standard will only draw 60w peak, which is comfortably within the 75w our design is capable of supplying.

Also Remember our 48 volt POE options are really 50V so....

48V is
.75 Amp @ 50V = 37.5 watts
using 2 pair pins 4,5 as positive and pins 7,8 as negative
which is 802.3af/at MODE B

48VH is
1.5 Amp @ 50V = 75 watts
using 4 pair pins 1,2,4,5 as positive and pins 3,6,7,8 as negative
which is 802.3af/at MODE A and MODE B at the same time
Support is handled on the Forums not in Emails and PMs.
