The WS3 line uses ACTIVE OVER CURRENT PROTECTION or AOCP which means you can NOT fry a port with a shorted cable anymore.


Whoot Whoot! That will be nice. Will that change the rules for plugging and unplugging devices with PoE on?

Just another thought...

Why not make a single model and then have different hot-swap power supplies that could be AC or DC or redundant.

Just bumping this thread to see if there is any word on if/when you might be selling these units to the public for testing? I have a real use case for them right now if you're willing to part with a pair of them.
