Netonix manager upgrade failure

I am running the Netonix manager 1.0.17. It doesn't upgrade using the GUI. I tried 1.0.18 and now 1.0.20. It either hangs or crashes.

Is there a way to do the upgrade from the CLI so I can see any errors
