Double tagging?

Thu Mar 10, 2022 12:59 pm

I thought I had this figured out at one point, but now I'm not so sure. 1210.100 and 1210.101 are coming in double tagged on the trunk port. How do I get VLAN 100 and 101 to ports 17 & 18?
On Calix, it's a simple matter of creating a tag action to match untagged traffic on the port and adding two tags. On MT ROS, it's a simple matter of adding a double-stacked VLAN interface. I'm sure there's a way, but the logic here is escaping me.

Hrrm.. pasted image not working?

Anyways, have port 1 set to trunk for VLAN 302 and 1210.

Port 17 set to untagged for VLAN 100
Port 18 set to untagged for VLAN 101

VLAN 100 and 101 needs an outer tag of 1210.

Click the ? mark in the upper right corner on the VLAN TAB for help.

Then there are several post on this you can read bu using the search box.

Remember there is a magnifying glass on the right side of the search box but for whatever reason stopped showing up but is there if you move you mouse to the right side of the search box your pointer changes and you can click it to go to advanced search.
Support is handled on the Forums not in Emails and PMs.
Before you ask a question use the Search function to see it has been answered before.
To do an Advanced Search click the magnifying glass in the Search Box.
To upload pictures click the Upload attachment link below the BLUE SUBMIT BUTTON.
