No, we just started using Netonix about a year ago to add a better battery backup solution.

All of the sites were using POE midspan + managed switch before without issue.

We do have surge protection on the Data lines at these sites. However, I am a bit hesitant to remove them all (200+) as they have been functioning without issue for 5+ years.

hmmm...how about you give me a drawing of yur typical Netonix site....power source...etc...you can send me a PM if you want to take this offline
