I have made some progress on this. For the moment development resource's are being directed elsewhere.

My goal is to begin making update's on the WS series again within the few weeks.

I see that every 5 minutes exactly 69 Gratuitous ARP are sent by each Netonix switch. it's not a large number per se, but if you sum them for every switch in a wireless network all these broadcasts have a weight.
