DC Switch Hold-Up Time

Hi guys,

I've checked the forums for an answer to this and haven't found anything, so apologies if this has been answered already.

We're in the process of getting a new power system designed which will have a relay switchover unit in the event of grid power failure. The guys developing it have asked what the hold-up time on the WS-12-250-DC is? If we have a relay switch between mains PSU and battery, would this possibly damage the switch with the micro outage?

More info for readers who don't know what I'm talking about: https://www.techopedia.com/definition/1740/hold-up-time

Cheers!

sorry, I never characterized the switch for hold-up time. That will of course depend on the input voltage and switch load (POE loads).

you will not damage the switch doing it the way you want.

worse case is it will reset/power down/up
