High Power Draw on AF24 & B11

We are seeing a large 80 watt power draw on several AirFiber 24s and a B11 at one of our sites. As you can see
in the attached picture, it is drawing 80 watts on only a single pair.

Any idea why this is happening?

Yes, your board is damaged, most likely from ground current.

There are 2 current sensors used in VH mode. The current sensors on that port are damaged.

I would beef up your grounding and RMA that unit for repair.

This time your switch was damaged next time your radio may take the damage. Anytime you lose the Ethernet port in a radio but the radio still works that is ground current.

Read the posts above but the basics are as follow:
Tower ground rods must be bonded to electrical service ground rods HEAVY #2 wire.
I always add 1 or 2 “new” ground rods to older existing electrical services.
