First out of the gate is the WS3-14-600-AC and WS3-14-600-DC
NOTE: This is 600 watts to support 8 VH ports

(2) SFP+ ports
(12) copper 1G ports
- ports 1-12 support 24V and 48V
- ports 1-2 24VH
- ports 1-8 48VH

Door open sensors
External temperature and humidity sensor (included)
External relay switch terminals that are software controllable based on many factors

There is also some software features that will follow in later firmware release such as
Layer 3 routing
Bandwidth control
And more as the switch core can do Enterprise/Carrier features
After that the same version where the copper ports support 2.5G but will cost a lot more.

What are the thermal specs? We got a series of days with 38degree even in germany. So in an outdoor housing with direct sun ...

Just lost a switch.

They will have the same thermal specs as all our switches have.

If you have a box in direct sunlight it should be white and vented if not a fan.

Sadly the same.

The design is done (well maybe) but we are having some issues that are preventing us from moving forward to production.

Software engineer says it is the hardware engineer and the hardware engineer says it is the software engineer.

Both are pointing the finger at each other and I am in the middle, trust me I am as frustrated as you, probably more as we already have hundreds of thousands of dollars invested in development and nothing to produce and sell.

Any luck cooling the Softwave Vs. Hardware war?

Well turns out it may have been the hardware.

Waiting on a board spin with different memory, this week I am told.

If this fixes it then a production run would be placed within a month or two.

Then it is 3 months after that to do a production run to completion.

Do you still have any plans for the outdoor 'tower switch' models?

Do you have any pictures of the new switches?

What is the 10A relay for?

To control anything external based on information in the switch.

You could control a fan based on temp/humidity
You could turn Christmas lights ON and OFF based on time
You could ignite an ink dye pack to deter thieves based on door open sensor - JOKE

It's a simple way to turn something external ON and OFF
