WS-8-250-DC firmware upgrade from 1.4.3rc4 safe?

I've been slack in keeping up with the Netonix Forums. Will we be safe upgrading to v1.4.9 on a live link overnight?

I would read the release notes, at some point there was an issues with some usernames and passwords.
To play it safe if you do not feel like reviewing release notes change username and password to simple 8 characters each, upgrade, then change username and password back.
I would use v1.5.0rc4 as it fixed a LOT of stuff once again read release notes

We didn't take the time to go through all of the release notes - we do have a shelf spare if everything went down...
But it worked without a hitch. :)
