"All" airMAX radios use 24V except for one model which was the Titanium which used 48V

Using anything other than 24V on airMAX will result in SMOKE - POOF (Except Titanium as mentioned above)

I spent hours going through the forums and got a wealth of information regarding this and great discussions regarding grounding and got more confused regarding the Prism (long day). Better to ask and look stupid than to be stupid and not ask, SMOKE-POOF no fun. Thank you very much :D Great product! Makes Mimosa B5c's & B11's worth having.

Groundings recap /tips:
I always add 1 or 2 NEW grounding rods to older existing electrical services and clean up and corrosion

If electrical service ground rods are too far from tower then follow this post:
viewtopic.php?f=17&t=1786&start=30#p13447

Make sure you run a heavy #2 ground bonding wire between electrical service ground rods and tower ground rods.

Earth Ground current is the #1 cause of WISP equipment damage NOT ESD and surges.

We also repair UBNT and MIMOSA radios and we see the same damage to those units as our switches when there is poor grounding.

For info on repairing UBNT and MIMOSA radios read this post:
