Hello Forum,
After skimming the "List of POEDEVICES..." thread, it's unclear if a wiring modification is needed to power a particular IP network cam compatible with POE. I'm currently using a TP-DCDC-1248GD POE but want to power the IP Cam directly from the Netonix switch so I can utilize its power features. The TP-DCDC-1248 specs are here:

http://tycononline.com/TP-DCDC-1248GD-G ... p_129.html and it appears that this will work.

Has anyone tried to power this particular device on a netonix switch (WS-12-250-dc)

48V POE
Option @.75A - constant draw can surge/spike to 1A:

802.3af/at MODE B pinout

You would use this option to power most 802.3af/at devices like IP Phones and Cameras
Pair 3 / PINs 4, 5 are
POSITIVE
Pair 2 & 4 / PINs 3, 6, 7, 8 are
NEGATIVE

Is it possible to power the Axis M3025-VE POE camera directly from the WS-12-250? Or is an adapter required?

https://www.axis.com/files/datasheet/ds ... n_1607.pdf

I am configuring/testing a system that would combine Ubiquiti AP's and Axis cameras for security in marinas, when I came across your products.

Any suggestions are appreciated...

Should require just 48V selected on the port, 802.3af spec is 44-57v @ power sourcing equipment.

If you have success, please comment on the list of POE devices thread, and I'll get your camera added to the list for the next guy.

Thanks!
