Netonix Switch Ports lIghts off

Wed Feb 08, 2017 7:54 pm

Hi Team

I was recently using my Netonix WS-12-250DC switch on a 24 volt battery system. The switch was working fine and was even able to power on my Ubiquity Air Fibre 5x. Recently the switch went off due to flat battery and i have powered it on again and this time none of the lights on the ports come on. There is only a red light that comes on briefly on port 1 or 2. The power light does come on indicating that it is receiving power.

I do hope that my switch is not dead because it was recently bought. Could you please help me resolve this issue?

Well you need to pull it from service and bench test it.

Use a console cable to see what's coming up on the the console port.

If it failed it is covered under warranty

If it was damaged we still fix it for far less than a new one
