Hi,

In addition to what was asked, I would like to inquire if there is any way to adjust the columns in the netonix manager to avoid overlapping of words in different columns.

Thank you.

Cynchie, right now column widths are fixed. I will look into making them adjustable.

I'm having an issue with the latest version in which I cannot update firmware on a bunch of my switches. I have 74 in total I am trying to update, and the update never happens when scheduled. I attempted to manually update a few one at a time via manager, and it still never happens.

Any ideas?

Running on a Win 7 VM.

Can you send us a log from the Manager?

Is it possible to move the Netonix Manager to new server without having the problems that sirhc refers to on page 1? "If you do install more than 1 Manager for some odd reason just do NOT have both managers talking to the same switch.....VERY BAD THINGS WILL HAPPEN."

To explain a little: We have the Netonix Manager installed on a server today, and we want to move Netonix Manager instance to a new server. The old server will not talk to the switches at the same time as the new server. And if so, is there any way to move/copy the Netonix Manager database with logs and config backups to the new server, or do we need to add all the switches manually again?

Yes you can do that.

Assuming your server's are linux based, everything under /var/lib/netonix-manager from your old must override your new install's /var/lib/netonix-manager. This includes the downloaded configs, downloaded firmwares, and the database.

Be sure your new instance is turned off while performing the override.

Okey, thanks for the replay! What if it's from a Windows based server to Linux?
