I will try and duplicate this behavior to hunt down whatever is causing it.

Can you please provide details on SSL cert upload and configurations. I would like to force the manger to use a let encrypt ssl that is located on the server. Can I specify the ssl cert location that the manager should use?

We've seen the same issue as Brough - happens regularly for us - whenever a link drops even if just for a second. This is a dumb fix but it works almost every time - when I have a switch that shows red but I know the switch is still up I edit the switch in Manager - delete the last letter of the username, put the letter back in and click OK. A few seconds later the switch comes back to green.

That's good to know actually. Approximately how many devices are you managing?

Netonix Manager 1.0.17 is now ready for download/upgrade.

Now you can.

I've also added some logic to try and help combat this issue of losing devices sometime after they are added. Please keep an eye on your device list's, if you see this again let me know and I'll get back on it.

I am doing this next. However I wanted to try and get this bug reported above settled. However, after looking into it the manager generate's it's own certificate before use. I am looking into making it a configurable option.

I just updated to 1.0.17 and now most of my devices are showing as offline. Editing the device seems to do nothing either. I have also tried restarting the service (Windows 10).

It may need some time to reacquire connection to them. Otherwise, try deleting them and re-scanning for them once to clear out any error's from the last setup.

You're right. After going out for lunch, and coming back, everything is online again.

Thanks.
