Maybe I'm missing it but is there a way to cause the whole unit to reboot upon a watchdogged link failure?

At the moment, no I don't believe this is supported, but you can bounce the port, enable/disable the link. Would there be a use in completely rebooting the unit?

I would not put this feature in, no need and could cause more problems then it solves.

Bouncing the port required to reach an IP makes more sense.

I actually have seen an instance where a rocket M2 would stop working and port bounce would not correct it. The only thing that would was to reboot the entire switch. just my personal experience. Can't explain why but it's repeatable.

I would like to see this feature where the whole unit is rebooted. We have been having more and more issues where we have to either dispatch a tech out to reboot a locked up WS-12-250-DC and are putting in Smart DIN Watchdog rebooting devices. I would not expect the ties to be small. it would start at 30 minutes. this way it was the lat resort.

We never had this issue untill about 9 months to a year ago.
