Replacement IC part

Wed May 30, 2018 12:45 pm

We had a field accident with some misplaced power and we blew the IC labeled U7 just inline with the #1 Ethernet port. I was wondering if we could get a part number for that chip and replace it ourselves as an attempt to revive the board. The only thing that I found printed on it was AKOR 13, which the internet told me was not so helpful.

Thanks!

Julian

The part number you're looking for is RT8070ZQW.

This is the 1.0v supply for the SoC. Typical failure mode on them is pop and output input voltage, which is very, very, very unhealthy for the SoC.

Let me know how you make out!

Thanks for your reply! We removed the IC and the board seems pretty unresponsive. We might try changing it but it sounds like it might be brain dead. Nonetheless thank you again for your help, it's really nice to have communications with you guys like this!
