If I use a supply voltage from a Ubiquiti AF24 with 3 WS-6-Minis chained together 1 each (mini) to supply POE to 3 Ubiquiti 5-AC-Prisms (total 9) rated at 8W each will there be enough POE current to operate all 9 5-AC-Prisms.

How much cable between each switch?

So you want:
AF24POE====[WS6]====[WS6]====[WS6]

Then you want each WS6 to power (3) airPRISIM radios?

You're going to have voltage drop that is for sure and the last switch will be no where near 48V input but this depends on cable length.

Always assume higher peak demand then UBNT claims as MAX or PEAK draw
I would assume 12 watts per radio so 9 x 12 watts = 108 watts for 9 radios alone.
I would assume 5 watts (closer to 4 watts but always assume higher) per switch so 3 x 5 watts = 15 watts

108+15=123 watts

An AF24 POE adapter is 1.2A or 1.2 x 50V = 60 watts

Even their POE-54-80W POE adapter is only 80 watts. Now this adapter is better to use than an AF24 for longer cable runs to overcome voltage drop and it does have 20 additional watts.

The 5AC-Prisms are 24V wouldn't that make a difference?

No. Watts are watts regardless of volts.

Maybe you should consider running separate power wires feeding the barrel connectors and of course use a DC supply that puts out enough watts.

You might want to consider the WS-8-150-DC in place of the MINIs as they can handle the voltage drop.

Was just trying to use existing cat5e.

Got three cables going up guess I'll just use three POE supplys and three WS-6s.

Yes and you can power with (3) POE bricks or (1) WS-12-250-AC

50V X 1.5A = 75W
