I have the 8 port DC switch at a site with VFDs and cameras getting communication from it. Every so often, the switch will stop sending traffic from the VFDs but continue to send traffic from the camera. They switch and the VFDs are on the same VLAN and the camera is on a different VLAN. Below is how everything is set up:
Port 1: Incoming communications from Hitachi 6420, port is trunked allowing all VLANs, each VLAN (10-12) is marked as "T" or tagged
Port 2: Connection to Camera, port is set to Access VLAN 12, VLAN 12 is marked as "U"
Port 3: Connection to VFD unmanaged switch, port is set to Access VLAN 11 for VFDs, VLAN 11 is marked with "U"
If I change port 1 VLAN 11 to "U" and leave the rest of the VLANs Tagged, I lose connection to the switch, but everything else works great. I need to know what I am missing here.
