We have several AF5X Links running, the port's these are plugged into seem to generate a lot of CRC errors. This is on the AF5X port and also some downstream port's until it reaches the Mikrotik Routerboard.
No other UBNT Devices seem to generate these port errors, it's just the AF5X's.
Has anyone else had a similar issue?
We are running 1.3.8 Firmware on the Netonix Switches (24-Port, 12-Port and 6-Port)
The AF5X's are running 3.2.28594
Thanks
Mike

Re: AirFiber 5X - Port Errors
I am running AF5X on several switches. Most do not have errors, and the few that do we know we have a cable issue.
I would do a cable diagnostics on that port. Might be bad cable and or end/crimp(s).
You can always move the radio to a different port and if the errors follow it then you know it's not the port.
Also if you have a router at the location the errors can get mangled between the router and the switch and show up on the AF5X port.

Re: AirFiber 5X - Port Errors
Hi,
Thanks for the quick reply,
The cable test on the port returns OK, however it also shows the cable length as 1m (I think it's around 3m)
That port has around 18,000 Errors.
We are using Toughcable and the same plugs as with everything else however the only difference is the AF5X. (Thus I don't believe it's a Netonix Issue)
Thanks
Mike

Re: AirFiber 5X - Port Errors
Looks like this may be a culprit
http://community.ubnt.com/t5/airFiber/A ... rue#M25530
There's an AF Bug which causes Bad packets to be sent.
We have ping monitoring on our Links and my suspicion is that this is causing the bad packets.
