WS-26-500-DC V1.5.16

Hi,

I recently made a mistake of selecting Port 6 Trunk Port / Allowed VLANS checkbox. And now I cannot deselect it. What gives? Dodgy firmware?

Here is my VLAN list:

Also, I'm trying to understand how I can tag traffic originating from Port 19 (A windows server) with a new VLAN4 tag. VLAN4 packets need to exit via Port 6 up to a Ubiquiti switch.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

First upgrade to v1.5.25

We only support the current/latest version, sorry.

when you go to untick the trunk vlan, are you editing the vlan range?
if it says '1-4095', remove the text from the field and hit okay, this should remove the trunk

Is it advisable to go from 16 to 25 directly? Or is it safer to go through each release incrementally?

I do 1.5.16-1.5.25 every day, lately, multiple times - Think your password reverts to default if changed? I always default first, have read reports, have not experienced personally.

DO NOT SKIP THIS NOTE: May also need to reseat your SFP or reboot after upgrade, I'm not sure why but certain SFPs don't wake back up? none of my FS.com rj adapters do it, but my Molex one does - Then again that one causes most things I plug it into to reboot on insertion, ymmv. But if you're doing it in production you need to know this

Thanks - just wondering if there is official documentation regarding VLANs on the Netonix range?

I want to get port 19 traffic to be able to send traffic upstream VLAN 4 via Port 6 to a Mikrotik waiting on VLAN 4 on Port 1.

Struggling with this device as I don't have a clear picture of how the traffic leaves the Netonix.

Simply: Why can't I send ping traffic over to the other side leaving via port 19, get tagged on 4, go up the trunk, then hit the Mikrotik only for it then untagged VLAN 4 traffic and place it on Eth 1 for it to respond to the ICMP request.
