Board 3V and 24V Out of Range

I have a WS-12-250-DC switch that was sitting as a backup for some time and, when I plugged it in, it seems to have an error with voltage out of range. I just did the full factory default (20 seconds on power up) to see if that might make any difference but nothing changed. Does this mean a current sensor was damaged or something? I have tried multiple different DC power supplies with the same result.

That unit is pretty OLD. - 8 years OLD

This unit was manufactured way before we beefed them up to deal with bad grounding or ground loops.

My guess is it is damaged.

If you checked port wattage reporting on the status page my guess is 1 or more ports are reporting incorrect wattages.

It is out of warranty but you could send to Julian's company for repair and ask him to preform as many board upgrades "as possible" which will bring it close to more modern versions but not quite as good.

We contract all RMA repairs through Julian's company so he is the best person to use. His company is the only company certified to repair Netonix units. He worked directly for Netonix for years and has direct access to pretty much all our design and spec info including schematics, not to mention direct access to our engineers, programmers, production, shipping, and me.

You can reach out to him at julian@netonix.com
