Duplicate ip detected - message in syslog?

I have found one strange message in external syslog from Netonix WS12-250-AC on 1.5.8, I can see this in the WebUI log (just changed settings of secondary DNS ip):
and this is visible via syslog (one extra line eth0: duplicate address detected! is there):
what does it mean and why it is visible only via syslog?
