The VLAN ID change seems to work now.

But the STP per port enable/disable still struggling

Updated that thread to report very good results with v1.5.7rc2. Unable to recreate any of those issues.

Is the TLS browser security issue addressed in this release?

These are issues I've reported against earlier versions that still exist

NETONIX-SWITCH-MIB::dcdcEfficiency is missing the instance subidentifier (.0)

If an element is queried from a non existent table, it appears the next table is used for the reply instead of No Such Object.

Code: Select all
$ snmpget -v2c -c public -On 100.96.49.2 .1.3.6.1.2.1.2.2.1.6.3
.1.3.6.1.2.1.2.2.1.7.3 = INTEGER: up(1)

This fills my NMS logfile with lines like

Code: Select all
 SNMP response from host "100.96.60.2" contains variable bindings that do not match the request: sent ".1.3.6.1.2.1.2.2.1.6.10", received ".1.3.6.1.2.1.2.2.1.7.10"

Added a new MSTP bug report:

viewtopic.php?f=17&t=6787&p=33984#p33984

This bug existed at least as far back as v1.5.6, but couldn't isolate & document it until now.

No, it will be done before 1.5.7 is fully released though.

Is the 802.3ad LAG issue going to be addressed. The switch will NOT do more than 2 LAG ports that are using the 802 standard. You must use the "rr balanced" mode for it to even work. This is a problem with 1.5.1 and later software.

wtm, I do intend to tackle the LAG issue before 1.5.7 is complete. There are a few things I have to do first though.

However, it might help to know that the WS3's 10G switches are available now which might help you circumvent the issue.

Any news on fixing LAG issues on Netonix?
