WS-8-150-AC: Identify chip at U62

Wed Mar 25, 2020 3:05 pm

Hello,

I recently damaged a Netonix Switch and a 24V passive Unifi AP. Both seemingly died during that incident. It is not sure what caused this yet. It was either too high voltage (48V) or a short-circuit.

I attached 2 images, one for context and one for the U62 circuit. By removing the damaged chip I was able to get the Switch working again. So I have 2 questions:

  • Can I continue to use the switch without that chip?

  • Can you link me to a datasheet of the chip? Would love to replace it :)

Here is the link to the switch: https://www.netonix.com/ws-8-150-ac.html

PS: You can actually see one conducting path which was vaporized :P
