Hi Morten,

I assume that after each switch you put in you did testing to make sure everything was fine at that point before adding the next switch?

I would put your original switches back in service and test that everything is fine then replace 1 switch at a time and test after each switch is installed.

Thanks,
Chris

I would remove switches in reverse order testing as you go until you have no problems again.

Then only put 1 switch in at a time and then test after each one otherwise the problem will be too hard to narrow down.

Ok I will try it.
it will just take a very long time for me to put all 8 switch in service, and it was not what I had hoped for. :Cry2:
from one problem to another :headb: , then I just started to test again. :Box:

but i will probably just end up more clever  , then something good will come out of it.

ok I have now put the old TS8 into 203 (TS8) and can now ping it through 214 (netonix) but can not make contact with 208 (netonix) when I try through netonix switch (214) it's like they do not really want to talk to each other. I can make contact with 208 (netonix) and 214 (netonix) from TS8 (203)

It appears that you are configuring the switch via IP (10.105.1.203).
Why is the Switch IP address showing as "unknown" on the device tab?

Is this address (10.105.1.203) statically assigned?

hi wayneorack
when I configuring switch it is plugt directly in the lan port with 192.168.1.20, and I have internet enabled on the computer, I press all the data into the switch at once and save data and aply. so that the switch is ready for use.
