That one green LED is a power on indicator since port 1 doesn't use it for PoE out. There are different reset options depending on when and how long you hold in the reset. If you tried them all, since the MINI does not have its console port exposed, then RMA is probably your only recourse.

Since the mini has no serial port not much you can do other than RMA it, sorry.

Not a common thing to happen but things do go wrong on rare occasions.

What are the Credentials/Name field restrictions?
Can you add support for using a hyphen (-) in the Name please?
Thanks!

I just tried entering a Name with a hyphen (example: user-name) and it pops up "Invalid field" when I click Save/Apply with Name field highlighted in red/pink.

This is on both WS-12-250-AC and WS-10-250-AC units that I have.
Firmware version 1.4.7

Oh you mean the Login Credentials.
Nope, it is not a valid option.
I guess I can ask Eric to explain why.

These are our first Netonix switches and we are looking forward to better performance than the ToughSwitches we have.

We have always used hyphens in user names (credentials) on our Cisco routers and Ubiquiti devices. We use the hyphen to delineate different user sub-groups.

Any chance you can add this in the future?

You should try underscore instead. Hyphen is often class special character that can't be use in some case.

Bug: speedsetting on SFP port needs to be set to 1G instead of auto.

I was connecting a WS-12-250-AC to a UBNT ES-16-XG via fiber. The netonix is running firmware 1.4.7. The ubnt is on firmware 1.7.
The weird thing is the ubnt switch said link up. The netonix said link down. Tried several type of optics, no difference. Finally setting the port-speed to 1G instead of auto, and immediately the link was up.

Tried a search, but couldn't find this problem. Not sure if this is already a known issue.

This is normal behavior, dome SFP modules work with 1G some work with AUTO.

With this being said I would read these post but here are many other posts on this subject:
