Not really, you would need to purchase a special cable with a built in UART to console into them. You will need to RMA it.
If it is less than 1 year old we do it and return free, if over a year we charge $25 but we also give it a good once over and install any needed MODs.

Re: FIRMWARE RECOVERY VIA CONSOLE PORT
I haven't been able to replicate this issue so far on the WS-8-150-AC which might mean it is a hardware issue. But before that could you send a screenshot of the commands you're running?

Re: FIRMWARE RECOVERY VIA CONSOLE PORT
OK, everything looks right (except that it's not working of course).
Try this:
1) cd /tmp
2) rx wispswitch-1.5.0.bin
3) touch upgrade_in_progress
4) firmware_upgrade wispswitch-1.5.0.bin
Let me know what this does. Depending on what the original issue was, this has worked for me under various circumstance's.

Re: FIRMWARE RECOVERY VIA CONSOLE PORT
By any chance did you try this after rebooting? (As in complete power down, and power up)
Btw, when and how did this all start occuring?
