1.5.1 Wattage shown on disabled port

Thu Mar 21, 2019 6:41 pm

Hi,

Not sure if this is a bug with 1.5.1 or issue with this brand new netonix WS-12-250DC.

Port power watchdog is working but when it disables the port it's still showing voltage going through. The radio is down (not showing connected at other end) and reconnects when the watchdog kicks in.

I'm seeing this on 1.50 and 1.52 as well and also on WS-8-150-DC

I'm use this feature for secondary power for routerboards! Please keep this option.

It's not going to be removed. It's just being repaired. There was an issue in calculating the timing in certain circumstance's.

We have crossed wires. It's not the PORT being disabled. It's the POWER being disabled in the watchdog. Therefore it shouldn't be showing any voltage.

Hi Stephen,

Also, could the "notify" tickbox in watchdog also apply to the log file? My "disable power" watchdog just fills up the log file needlessly.

Yeah that's fine, we're coming close to the end of this cycle and the release of rc1, I should be able to squeeze it in there.

But just to be sure I understand, you're saying you want it setup so that if the Notify box is checked, it will send an email and log the watchdog event. Otherwise, do not log or email correct?

The latest is out, the first issue has been resolved, I still need you to get back to me about the second feature you asked for. Let me know and I will add it in to the next revision.
