WS-6-MINI Unresponsive

Wed Jul 11, 2018 5:58 pm

We have a WS-6-MINI that can be factory reset and used briefly but after a short time becomes unresponsive and doesn't pass traffic. It displayed this on the bench during initial config and never was deployed.
I was able to update the firmware but it didn't help.

Anything else I should try before RMA?

Are you saying that you can factory default it.

Simply let it set running on the bench in a factory defaulted state and changing nothing in the config it becomes unresponsive just setting there making no changes to the config?

I think that is correct, I will double-check. We are not doing anything exotic with it, I took another one out of the box and configured, tested, deployed no problem, and have done another one since.

Then I would say you need to RMA that unit.
