Hi Eric,

Have you replicated MSTP priority and cost by instance problem or ERPS that block access to management VLAN ? Any fix in work ?

They are on my todo list, but I'd still need steps to reproduce each of them.

I have upgraded most (not all) of my switches to 1.4.8rc7.

Most, no issues, but starting just after the upgrade, one of my more heavily trafficed AP switches (6 ubiquiti APs) now spontaneously reboots every 8 to 24 hours.

I am quoting a recent log (from 24 minutes ago).

Prior to the upgrade, this switch had hundreds of days of uptime.

I have not idea with the information provided.

Maybe tell us the model of switches that you are seeing issues with along with their MAC address.

And explain in more detail what is going on.

Is the switch itself rebooting or the APs?

The switch is rebooting.

All the devices connected to it are power cycled as well. The log shows 'cold boot detected'.

Model is : WS12-250-AC

mac address: EC:13:B2:61:12:52

Is this the only unit doing this?
I will have Julian check if this unit MAC is one that may have a defective power supply C51 CAP. If it is I would take out of service and RMA as it can end up locked up. Why it started after the firmware upgrade I have no idea as that should not cause this to happen.

After downgrading to 1.4.7 it has been up 19 hours so far. Will report if it reboots again.

it's not in the date range for the cap problem, plus the load on it is heavy enough that it shouldn't be presenting that issue, regardless.

Can you get me a diagram of what's connected where, and a configuration? I'll try and get this duplicated in our lab.

Unit has been stable since the downgrade to 1.4.7.

The screenshot shows the basic attachments.

Ports 1-6 are ubnt prism aps and the other two active ports are low volume devices.

Port 12 is uplink to the router.

No special vlans, no rstp, etc. Pretty vanilla config.

WS-8-150-DC with 1.4.7 - I was having trouble on reboot SFP disappearing. wispswitch-1.4.8rc7 seems to have made that stop, though I saw nothing in the release notes that would indicate that was targeted...... thanks?
