This is a municipal tower we recently got on. It's the first large free standing tower we've done. UBNT Sectors with RF Armor and airFiber 5X back haul. We are standardizing on the Tripp Lite APS750 and SLA batteries for back up power. We estimate most sites will run 12-18 hours. Typical AC watt draw is 60-100 watts.
This site doesn't have a router yet, VLAN's are being fed from an upstream router for now. Love these switches! It makes out job so much easier!

You have really neat installs!

I would NOT climb that tower, the steel looks so thin. SCARY TOWER :crazy:

I wouldn't work on it while these radio transmitters are pumping their wattages out! Fries your brain!

Are you talking about the two way radio antennas? Might be running 50 watts and only transmitting ever so often. These are not broadcast stations.

To me it looks like a very stable tower. Most of my towers look like that. Those that don't are the ones to be careful about....

The use of solid rod does make it look less beefy than tubular towers but looks can be deceiving.
