The WS-8-150-AC does not have individual port watts reporting.
This was discussed before as to why.

Re: Power out of range? (3V)
I used the advanced search by clicking on the hour glass and then adding the words I want to search for and by what author.
Obviously the answer would probably be by me so I selected me as the author and I think the words I used were: +Port +Watts
I did not search for WS-8-150-AC as it contains dashes and it messes with the search since "-" means do not find (read the advanced search help)

Makes sense, and I should have tried that.
There's something about the colors of this forum that really messes with my colourblind eyes.
Took me until today to find the attachments link...
Will have to fiddle with the skins in the CP tomorrow to make it easier for me to see.

OK so I tried to call you jakematic with the number provided on your RMA form and an Asian woman answered that did not know your name and refused to talk to me?

Re: Power out of range? (3V)
OK, so a little update on what's been happening on this adventure and a half...
BLUF (bottom line up front):
- I don't believe there is anything wrong with the Netonix switches
- there's some weird shit going on in my house / testbed
- these switches are amazing and are slicker than owl shit on a door knob performance and feature wise
Lessons learned:
- LISTEN TO CHRIS AND DAVE, et al
- ground is not ground
- ground everything
- use AC surge protectors
- if Chris says use the latest firmware, use it, period
- ground rods are a PITA to drive in but it's damn cheap insurance
- search the damn forum.. google it if you have to
- read the forum every day
- setup a TFTP server - it takes minutes
- learn from your peers
-- I think it was adair's post that turned me onto FS and I can't tell you how grateful I am
- don't crimp the piss out of connectors
- make your own copper cables - your aren't saving anything
- voltage fluctiations mean something outside the switch is very wrong
- "The school of hard knocks has a mean teacher. She gives the exam before the lesson! - lligetfa"
Site specific issues to me (and others?), and rules going forward:
- don't plug anything into a switch that is not on the same subpanel
- don't plug anything into a switch that doesn't have a 3 prong ground
- electrical isolation is your friend if all else fails
What I did:
- spent over $2k putting in 3 switches
- awaiting invoices for RMA's because
-- a) I made some mistakes
-- b) there are switches FUBAR'd due to ground potential
- isolated freaking everything via fibre (extreme edge case, but I had to stop the insanity)
The WS12 in my office has been running like a champ and 5 halfs.
Excited to get the rest of the fibre run and get this out of my hair, if you will, to move on to other things.
I can't thank everyone here enough.
This has not been an ideal project, but I've learnt a lot.
Special thanks to Chris for taking the time to call me (a peon in his world) and working so hard to make sure this was solved.
How Dave put up with this... well they have better beer in Canada... that's my guess anyway.... pass me a Molson Ice please
In closing, I sincerely hope the entire Netonix team does well, and appreciate everything they have done for me.
The best I can do is to give the Jake stamp of approval and recommend them to everyone.

Original author unknown but I cannot take credit for that.

I guess we need to apply the Motorola R56 Guidelines to residential as well.
